Wow, time flies! We can't believe our little Maya is already one year old. It's been a wonderful year full of happiness, laughs and sweet smiles thanks to our Maya. She's a joy to have in our family. She's always so happy and smiley! She brightens our day as soon as she opens her eyes with a big smile. Here are some picture of Mayas B-day with the McIntyre's. Nana made Maya her own little cake. She found pleasure destroying and smearing and eating it. We also have some pics with the cake that mama made for her.

El tiempo vuela!!! No podemos creer que nuestra Maya ya tenga un año. Ha sido maravilloso tenerla en nuestra familia. Este año a estado lleno de felicidad, y sonrisas gracias a nuestra pequena Maya. Es un gozo tenerla en nuestra familia, es tan risueña, ilumina nuestro dia tan pronto como abre sus ojos en la mañana y nos sonrie. Wow!! Time flies!!! Maya is 8 mo. and 20+ pounds, (actually she's been that since she was 6 mos.) She eats like a little orphan girl, even though we feed her solid foods 3 times a day+ her bottles. She loves to try food. She is very curious and squirmy. I compare her to a worm covered with salt. She barely started crawling but she's very strong and did all sorts of fun stuff before figuring out crawling. She thinks she can walk, so she lets herself go like if she could.
Kevin and I follow a daily routine that keeps us pretty busy. Basically, Kevin is in school all day, working, studying, and doing homework and I take care of Maya and Lily. It's almoust impossible to get things done, but we try.

Wow el tiempo pasa volando Maya ya tiene 8 meses y pesa mas de 10 Kg. (en realidad ella a pesado mas de 10 Kg desde que tenia 6 meses). Aunque le damos de comer 3 veces al dia su comida y sus botellas cada come come si no hubiera comido nada en todo el dia. Le encanta probar comidas diferentes y si te descuidas te quita la comida de la boca. Es muy curiosa y se retuerce mucho. Yo digo que parece una lombriz con sal por que no se esta quieta. Apenas empieza a gatear pero es muy fuerte e hizo toda clase de malabares aun desde antes de gatear. Maya piensa que ya sabe caminar asi que se suelta como si de verdad supiera.
Kevin y yo seguimos una rutina diaria que nos mantiene bastante ocupados. Basicamente Kevin se la pasa en la escuela estudiando, trabajando y haciendo tareas. Mientras tanto yo me la pasa cuidando de Maya y Lili . Es imposible hacer algo con esas dos chamacas, de todas maneras seguimos tratando

My first vacation/ Mis primeras vacaciones

We went to Spokane WA for the first time since I was born. A few months had passed since I saw Nana and Papa. I'm 5 months now. This is the first time that I have visited Spokane, where my daddy was born and raised. I loved spending time with Nana and Papa. They took me to nice places. My favorite places to go were Coeur d'Alene, and the orchards. It was nice to relax and escape the heat

Fuimos a Spokane WA por primera vez desde que naci. Han pasado ya algunos meses desde que vi mis abuelos por ultima vez. Tengo ya 5 meses. Esta es la primera vez que visito el lugar donde nacio y crecio mi papa. Me encato pasar tiempo con mis abuelos. Me llevaron a lugares muy bonitos. Mis lugares favoritos fueron el Lago Cour d'Alene y las huertas de frutos. Fue muy divertito relajarnos y escaparnos del calor

My mom graduated from BYU just in time to have me and then to move to Arizona. We moved to AZ because mom is very inexperienced in handeling little girls and I wanted someone with more sense close by me (that someone is my abue). Another reason is because my Daddy who is a very smart Engineer is going to ASU. Also, I'm a warm blooded creature. I need the sunlight to live. So we move to the desert where there is plenty of sunshine. We like it here. It's very, very warm in the summer.
A mi mama apenas y le dio tiempo de graduarse de BYU y despues de mudarse para Arizona. Nos cambiamos a Arizona por que mi mama aun no tiene mucha expericia con la niñitas y yo queria alguien con mas cordura junto a mi. Otra de las razones por las que nos cambiamos para aca es por que mi papi, que es un ingeniero muy inteligente esta asistinedo a la Universidad de Arizona. Tambien venimos a AZ por que soy una creatura de sangre caliente, necesito los rayos del sol para vivir. Asi que nos venimos al desierto donde sobran los rayos del sol. Nos gusta aqui. Aunque es verdad que aveces hace mucho mucho calor

In July of 2006 my parents found out that I was coming to the world!!!! Everything went great for my mommy. I behaved really well for her the whole 9 months. At the end I became too exited so I asked Heavenly Father to let me come 3 weeks early so I was born Febreary 6th at 11:25 pm.

En Julio del 2006 mis padres se enteraron que yo vendria al mundo !!! el embarazo de mi mama fue muy tranquilo. Me porte muy bien los 9 meses. Al final me emocione tanto que le pedi a Nuestro Padre Celestial me dejara venir, entonces naci tres semanas antes. El 6 de Febrero a las 11:25 PM para ser exactos.

Everything went well with labor, I lied!!. My dad was a bit nervous, because my stuborn mother refused to get an epidural. So my daddy had a real hard time seeing mom in pain. After many hours my mom finally accepted the epidural because I was stuck and on my side, besides she was getting tired. After that, both mom and dad were able to relaxe and everything went well.

Todo salio bien en el parto, miento!!! mi papa estaba un poco nervioso por que la necia de mi mama no queria anesticia. Esto le hizo pasar a mi papa un muy mal rato, por que no soportaba ver a mi mama con dolor. Finalmente, despues de muchas horas mi mama acepto la anestecia por que yo estaba un poco atorada, venia de lado y ademas creo que ya se habia cansado. Despues de eso los dos, se pudieron relajar y todo salio bien

As I was saying, my parents met in Provo. They dated a few months and they got married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. It was a cold winter day, December 27th 2003 to be exact. So that means they have been married for 3 years.

Como estaba diciendo mis padres se concocieron en Provo. Fueron novios por algunos meses y se casaron en el templo de Timpanogos. Fue un dia frio de invierno, el 27 de Diciembre 2003 para ser exactos. En total, han estado casados por tres años
